How do MotoTagz Work?
MotoTagz uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, the same secure system used in contactless payments. When someone taps your tag with their smartphone, your MotoTag profile opens automatically. No pairing, no charging, and no complex setup required.

Will MotoTagz work with my phone?
MotoTagz works with most modern smartphones that support NFC. This includes all recent iPhones and the vast majority of Android devices. NFC is now a standard feature on smartphones, making MotoTagz widely compatible.

Do i need an app to use MotoTagz?
No. MotoTagz itself does not require an app to be tapped or viewed. Anyone with a compatible smartphone can access your profile instantly. An app is only used during the initial setup process to pair your profile with your tag.

What information can MotoTagz display?
Your MotoTagz can display anything you choose to include in your profile. Common examples include social media links, websites, emergency contact details, photos, videos, and rider information. You remain fully in control of what is shown.

Can i store emergency contact details?
Yes. MotoTagz is designed to allow riders to make essential emergency contact information accessible if they wish. This information can be managed, updated, or hidden at any time within the MotoTagz Hub.

Can i control what people see?
Absolutely. Your MotoTagz profile is fully customisable. You decide what information is visible, what is hidden, and how your page appears. Changes can be made instantly whenever you like.

Is my personal information secure?
Yes. MotoTagz does not store sensitive data directly on the tag itself. The tag simply links to your secure online profile, which you control. You should only display information you are comfortable sharing, and visibility settings allow further control over what others can see.

Are MotoTagz weatherproof?
MotoTagz are built for real-world riding conditions. The durable construction and sealed design help protect the tag from rain, splashes, and everyday exposure to the elements typically encountered during normal use.

How are MotoTagz made?
Every MotoTag is 3D printed and individually hand-finished to achieve its final appearance. Due to the nature of the resin process, extremely subtle variations or minor surface characteristics may occasionally be present. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect performance or durability. If you have any concerns about your MotoTagz, our team is always happy to help.

Do MotoTagz require charging?
No. MotoTagz contains no battery and requires no charging. The NFC technology is powered by the smartphone during the tap interaction, meaning your tag is always ready to use.

How long will they last?
MotoTagz is designed for long-term everyday use. With no internal power components to degrade, the NFC chip itself can remain functional for many years. Physical lifespan depends on general wear and handling, just like any key-carried item.

What does the guarantee cover?
Your MotoTagz is backed by our 2 year guarantee against manufacturing defects and functional faults under normal use. Carbon Pro MotoTagz are guaranteed for 5 years. If your tag experiences an issue covered by the guarantee period, we'll arrange a replacement. Please visit our 'Warranty' section.

Can i update my details later?
Yes. Your MotoTagz profile can be edited at any time via The MotoTagz Hub. Any updates you make apply instantly, without needing to replace or modify your physical tag.

Are there any subscriptions?
No. MotoTagz and The MotoTagz Hub do not require any ongoing subscription fees. Once purchased, you can manage and update your profile without recurring costs.

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship across the United Kingdom. As MotoTagz continues to grow, we plan to expand to additional regions.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are typically processed quickly, with most shipments dispatched within the same day. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on location and seasonal demand, but we always aim to get your MotoTagz to you as soon as possible.

How long does it take to process my order?
Each MotoTagz is prepared and quality-checked before dispatch. Orders are usually processed within 1–2 working days.

Will i receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive confirmation and tracking details so you can follow your delivery.

How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping.

What if my order is delayed?
While delays are uncommon, delivery times can occasionally be affected by factors outside of our control. If you experience any issues, simply contact us and we'll be happy to assist.

What if my order arrives damaged?
If your MotoTagz package arrives in an unexpected condition, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details. We'll review the issue and arrange a suitable resolution.

Can i change my delivery address after ordering?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to update your delivery details. Please contact us promptly so we can assist.

 

WARRANTY & GUARANTEE
Do MotoTagz come with a warranty?
Yes. Every MotoTag is covered by our 2 year warranty for peace of mind. Carbon Pro MotoTagz come with a 5 year warranty. We stand behind the quality and functionality of our products under normal use.

What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and functional faults that may occur during normal everyday use. If your MotoTag experiences an issue within the warranty period, we'll arrange a replacement.

What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, loss, unauthorised modifications, or normal cosmetic wear from daily handling.

What happens if my MotoTagz develops a fault?
Simply contact us with your order details and a description of the issue. We'll review the situation and guide you through the next steps.

Will i receive a repair or replacement?
Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, we will provide a replacement MotoTagz.

Do i need to return the faulty product?
In some cases, we may request the return of the original item for inspection. If required, we'll provide clear instructions.

Is the NFC functionality covered?
Yes. Functional issues relating to the NFC performance of the tag under normal use are covered by the warranty.

Does the warranty transfer if i sell or gift my MotoTag?
The warranty applies to the original purchase and is generally non-transferable.
